Growing up my mom always told me that you make TIME for what is important to you. TIME. What an incredibly loaded concept. Like most of us, Iain's TIME is stretched very thin. However, he has 4 little ones at home that would never know that.
Last week was particularly stressful for Iain at work. Also, last week, the kids had the AWANA pine wood derby race to get ready for. In my mind, there was no TIME for that this year. You see, if you hand me a block of wood and some wheels to stick on it.....let's just say, it stays a block of wood. I cannot offer any help in these types of projects and I just wasn't about to put that burden on Iain to worry about. Besides, we would have TIME next year.
Iain made TIME. He faithfully worked with the kids last week and made each one of them a pine wood derby car to enter in the race. Mollie requested a pink car with red on it. Will wanted Dale Ernhardt Jr.'s new model. Abbie, being our history buff, wanted a Ford Model T.
So, while Iain is a great pilot. He is a husband and daddy first. And he is the best in our book!!

Thank you Iain for giving TIME to our grandkids. But then you do have a pretty fabulous wife who supports you in every way!
